More Fall Updates

Radishes: I just pulled these up from the hoop house. OMG they were wonderful and so sweet.
I got a load of gravel in on Monday. The barn is really beginning to take shape.
This is a picture of inside the hoop house. I planted turnips in there to help loosen up the soil. With all the construction on the house we compacted the soil. But the turnips are doing great if your like them. I believe I'll sneak them in for Thanksgiving to see how the family likes them. I also have planted lettuce, swizz chard, kale and beets. The temp today 87 in there. So far so good.
The chickens have moved to there new home and they love it. They are getting so big. I go out and talk to them everyday. We are becoming great friends the chickens and I.

Here is a fall Red Raspberry. Everytime I go for a walk down there I pick off a few to eat. Thank goodness for the rain last night. They are loving the moist weather.

I had to post this picture of my brother in law Doug. He is the master at organizing things here for me while the husband is gone. He and my sister Tonya helped the last days in installing the hoop house, built my chicken run outside and has drove in tons of t-posts for the trellis for the grapes and blackberries. I couldn't have done all of this with out their help. thank you both so much. I can't remember what he was pointing at there but it must have been important.
