Well I now have decided to become a Master Gardener. I am finding this to be very interesting as well as informational too. So much material to read and go over. I sure hope I remember it all.
My little seedlings are really needing to be set outside in the ground. I started them way to early and the poor things need better conditions to live it. I found some holes in my flower beds to put the carrots, lettuce and peas in and I hope they make. I sowed some Swiss Chard today in my flower garden and I can't wait for that wonderful Spring color to arrive.
Today I have a Missouri Extension agent coming out to look over the farm. As I don't have the ground properly prepare yet, I believe I'll have to wait until next spring to start the berry's. The field is full of warm season grasses. They will have to be mowed and annual rye planted to enrich the soil for the summer and fall months.
I'll take farm pictures next month.
